The zirconia sintering furnace is a key piece of equipment in the field of dental restoration for achieving densification of zirconia ceramics. Its technical specifications cover structural and performance parameters, temperature control accuracy, heating systems, safety and environmental protection, and metrological calibration, aiming to provide a unified technical basis for equipment manufacturing, selection, and application, ensuring the stability of the sintering process and the consistency of restoration quality.

Regarding basic structural and performance parameters, the equipment should have a closed furnace structure. The effective furnace volume should be designed in stages according to production capacity requirements. The inner wall should be made of high-temperature resistant, low-heat-capacity, and thermally shock resistant polycrystalline mullite fiber or high-purity alumina ceramic to reduce heat storage and improve heating and cooling efficiency. The furnace body's thermal insulation performance should meet the temperature rise limit requirements of the outer shell surface under prolonged high-temperature operation to prevent heat leakage from affecting the operating environment. The heating and cooling rates should be programmable, generally requiring a maximum heating rate of not less than 10℃/min, and the cooling rate should be flexibly controlled according to process requirements, with the maximum capacity capable of withstanding continuous hot and cold cycles without structural cracking.

Temperature control system and accuracy are core indicators. The furnace should be equipped with multi-segment independent temperature-controlled thermocouples (commonly type S or B), working in conjunction with PID or intelligent fuzzy control algorithms to achieve a set temperature control accuracy within ±1℃ and a temperature uniformity deviation in the working area not exceeding ±3℃. The programmed heating curve should support multi-segment editing, storage, and recall, allowing for the setting of specific sintering regimes for zirconia billets with different densities, particle sizes, and formulations. It should also have power-off memory and self-recovery functions to prevent batch scrap due to unexpected interruptions.

The heating system should use heating elements with excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance, such as silicon-molybdenum rods or molybdenum-lanthanum alloys, and their arrangement should ensure uniform heat distribution. For models requiring atmosphere protection, an inlet, outlet, and flow control system should be provided, capable of switching between vacuum and inert gas environments. Gas purity and pressure stability should meet process requirements, and leakage rate should be controlled within permissible limits.

Regarding safety and environmental requirements, the equipment must comply with national electrical equipment safety standards, and be equipped with over-temperature protection, over-current protection, leakage protection, and emergency power-off devices. High-temperature zones should have prominent warnings and anti-scalding protection structures. For any potentially harmful gases or dust generated, high-efficiency exhaust and filtration devices should be installed, ensuring that emission standards meet relevant occupational health and environmental regulations.

Metrology and calibration specifications require the temperature measurement system to be calibrated regularly to ensure traceability to national standards; pressure and atmosphere sensors also require periodic calibration to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of process parameters. The equipment should provide a data interface capable of recording and exporting sintering process curves such as temperature, time, and atmosphere, meeting the needs of quality traceability and process verification.

In summary, the technical specifications for zirconia sintering furnaces form a complete system encompassing structure, performance, control, safety, and metrology. Adherence to these specifications ensures the equipment remains stable and efficient during high-temperature precision sintering, providing a reliable guarantee for high-quality all-ceramic restoration.
